About the Research Project
This website presents an independent research project devoted to psychological types and the dynamics of consciousness.
The work is based on the typological theory of Carl Gustav Jung, but develops it further. It reinterprets psychological functions and their relations, focusing on how they operate within the dynamics of consciousness.
In particular, the functions of sensation (often called “sensing” in MBTI) and intuition are understood in a new way: as perception of invariants and perception of changes.
The concepts of functions and their relations do not coincide with those used in MBTI and Socionics and are based on a different understanding of the psyche.
The website includes analytical and overview texts on topics such as:
• psychological attitudes (extraversion and introversion)
• psychological functions (sensation and intuition, thinking and feeling)
• the dynamics of consciousness
• differences between Jung’s typology and later systems such as MBTI and Socionics
The project remains open to dialogue with readers interested in these questions.
